THE BLACK PARADE

You may think that wearing head-to-toe black outfit is like portraying Morticia Addams or like attending to funeral or even the goth aesthetic. But hey, let’s change that perspective.

Embracing this all-black-outfit I wore at the Fund Raising event in our Church as part of the committee. It represents beauty, elegance and formality.

It’s not obvious in this photo that I struggled on looking for the attire to perfectly suit the event. I actually pulled out my dresses, tops, and skirts in my closet and did a mix matching.

Worry No More

It looks like I am wearing dress but I am not. The black turtle neck top paired with black skirt made the illusion of like wearing a black dress. #fashionhack

Also, my belly isn’t obvious because wearing black makes me look skinny, hihihi. #fashionillussion

My Luna Bag to add up the all-black vibe.

What do you think of my all black outfit? I feel confident and comfortable with it. I love it and hope you do too.

BTW, the Fund Raising Event is a success. God really make ways to meet all our needs.

MY 10 THINGS TO DO ON VACATION

Few more months till I’ll go for my annual leave a.k.a “bonggang bakasyon”. Yes, makakapagbakasyon ako. Everybody is asking especially ‘yung mga close friends ko, when and how long will it be. Nai-book na ng Boss ko 3 months ago yung flight ko and that will be October 28 to December 1 – hello, that is more than a month escaping from work and getting away from stress, haha. So apart from it, what I am excited about is, magkikita kami ng cousin ko from U.S whom I didn’t see for more than 5 years. He’s going with his girlfriend na first time kong makikilala. Also, my Tito and Tita are going too.

I am not that type na mahilig magplano. But since we are talking about here my vacation, I will take this seriously as I have only limited days to do all my errands and to go on places. So nag-decide ako to make a list of to do’s.

So here are my Top 10 to do’s:

1. Dental Check up. Relating to my Braces, honestly, hindi ako nakakapagpa-adjust dito sa PNG. Too expensive ang dental check up. K500 or Php7,500 per visit 😭. Kaya everytime na uuwi ako, I always go to dentist during my first  day of stay. Teeth cleaning and filling na din 😊

2. Grocery with my Nanay and Sibs.

3. Salon and Spa. “I need massage” yan palagi kong sinasabi twing mararamdaman ko yung pagod from work. Of course, I need hair treatment too    also yung makapagpa-pedi and mani and I am sure na yung sister ko ang makakasama ko pagdating sa ganito, haha.

4. Boodle Fight.

5. Halloween Party for Kids. During my younger days(that was around 90s) hindi naman uso sa Pilipinas yung Halloween Party, kaya never ko na-experience mag trick or treat that I use to see sa mga American Movies noon. It reminds me pa nga yung cartoons noon na “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Kaya naman, I thought of throwing a party for kids since madami na din naman akong pamangkin. I am thinking pa for some ideas o baka may ma-share kayo sa akin.

6. Visit Departed Love Ones.

7. Eat like a Monster. And will I ever forget the famous Pinoy Street Foods? Balut, kwek-kwek, fish ball, kikiam, tokwa, isaw, betamax, chicken feet etc.

I will be going with my Sister, cousins and childhood friends. We already booked our flight, mga 2 months ago siguro. I-share ko siguro on my next post some tips on planning your Boracay Trip.

9. Treat. Mawawala ba naman to sa list ko? Haha, siyempre hindi ko malilimutan to spend time with relatives and friends. Wala pa akong exact plan where and how. Usually naman kasi sa house lang magkakainan or meet up on some places.

10. Go to Church and thank God. Never forget to thank Him for everything. He is the source ng lahat kung ano ang meron tayo and He is the reason why we are here.

All these that I’ve listed are my priorities and sure to do. Meron pa kasing mga “unsure” like going to Ilocos or Baguio. May maishe-share ba kayo sa akin where is the best and cheap place to go?

💛
